Royal Arch (Chapter)

You are probably on this page because you have shown an interest in completing your Third Degree and joining the Royal Arch otherwise known as ‘Chapter’. This is were you will have access to the information you need to answer the questions posed in the Third Degree.

To become a ‘Companion’ of the Order, you will first need to demonstrate that you are a Master Mason, so please bring along your MM’s apron. You will also need to demonstrate the Five Points of Fellowship that you were informed about when you were Raised, so do go through that with a Brother before your ‘joining’ date.

When you are made a Companion of the Order you will need you buy some regalia which comprises; an apron, sash and jewel:

Do note that the ribbons holding the tassels on the apron are white (not red or blue) the background on the triangle on the sash is white and the ribbon on the jewel is white. in 2025, an apron and sash can be bought online (eg Etsy) for £30 and a jewel for £9. However, do speak with your proposer or seconder as they may know of some secondhand regalia.
